Our client is developing a revolutionary online sports talent marketplace that connects aspiring grassroots male and female players with clubs, scouts, and agents worldwide.

The platform uses advanced AI and Machine Learning technology to deliver highly accurate and personalised recommendations to football clubs, scouts, and agents.

They plan to use AI algorithms to develop new technology and products that monitor and track players' progress over time, providing real-time feedback, alerts, and recommendations to players and coaches when potential injury risks arise, optimising player condition and performance.

Market & Opportunity

According to FIFA's 2007 Big Count survey, there are an estimated 265 million players actively involved in football worldwide, although this number is likely to have significantly increased in recent years due to the growing popularity of the sport globally.

  • Number of registered footballers = 38 million
  • Number of youth players = 22 million
  • Number of clubs worldwide = 301,000 with 1.7 million teams

Our target is to acquire 381,000 active users worldwide within 5 years of launch.

Solving Major Challenges Facing Clubs and Players Today!

  • Lower and non-league football clubs struggle to identify new talent, as the online information is scattered, incomplete, and difficult to verify.
  • Funding for scouts is scarce, making it almost impossible to identify and track the progress of the best talent among thousands of prospective players.
  • Aspiring and experienced players find it challenging to showcase their talent and get direct exposure to football clubs, scouts, and agents.
  • Most grassroots players do not have access to a comprehensive personalised program and tools covering fitness, conditioning, skills training, nutrition, and mindfulness, essential for developing their talent and reaching their full potential.

Business Model

  • Users can create a comprehensive player profile and access all members' benefits. After a month-long free trial, they pay a recurring subscription of £9.99 per month for adults and £4.99 per month for under 16s.
  • Users can upgrade to Pro and Pro+ subscription plans, allowing them to undergo regular physical and real-game assessments carried out by our sports-science team. This will provide verified physical stats, analytics, and videos on their profiles, maximizing the chance of a successful connection with clubs and scouts
  • We also forecast in-app revenue generation from: brand advertising; our sports and nutritional product store; our native platform for 1-on-1 personal coaching and training; health food delivery service; and the placement of various third-party ancillary products and services.
