First Flight NEDs & Advisors is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Non-Executive Director on behalf of a confidential international client operating within the franchise and supply chain sector.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Non-Executive Director to bring their expertise to a business operating across complex international markets, supporting its continued development, strategic growth and organisational transformation.
The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of master franchise operations, international supply chains and logistics, alongside the ability to provide independent strategic oversight and constructive challenge at board level. This global client will consider candidates from all regions including UK, EU and APAC.
The Role
Working alongside an established board, the appointed Non-Executive Director will contribute to strategic discussions, support organisational development and provide valuable insight into operating across diverse international markets.
We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:
- Franchise and master franchise expertise: Significant senior leadership experience within international franchise or master franchise models, ideally across multiple territories.
- Supply chain and logistics: A strong understanding of complex international supply chains, distribution networks, procurement and operational efficiency.
- APAC market knowledge: Experience operating across the Asia-Pacific region, with an appreciation of the commercial and cultural complexities of international business.
- Culture and organisational transformation: A proven ability to support and influence cultural change, organisational development and business transformation.
- Strategic leadership: The ability to offer independent perspectives, constructive challenge and sound commercial judgement at board level.
Commitment & Remuneration
This is a paid Non-Executive Director appointment, remunerated on a competitive day-rate basis.
The role will involve approximately three board meetings per year, with each meeting typically spanning three to four days.
Board meetings are predominantly held in the UK and Europe, and candidates should be comfortable with international travel as required.
Given the international nature of the organisation, candidates based in Australia or with significant experience across the wider APAC region are particularly encouraged to apply.
