Construo combines a professional network, specialised personal recruitment, a unique peer-driven smartphone recruitment referral engine, and an emerging marketplace into a single, industry-specific ecosystem, something no other existing platform offers at scale.

Management, Governance & Execution
Construo is led by a highly experienced, industry-led management team, with deep expertise across construction, commercial leadership, technology, recruitment, marketing, and finance. The business has already demonstrated its ability to execute, validate ideas commercially, and convert strategy into traction.
The Board includes experienced NED investors, and the company is now seeking to strengthen governance, strategic capability (in particular online markets and next-day delivery), and fundraising further.
The requirement for investing NED’s / Advisors
Following a successful previous Investing NED process, Construo has already onboarded Investing Non-Executive Directors, strengthening governance and providing valuable strategic support as the business scales.
The company is now seeking to appoint a further 1–2 Investing Non-Executive Directors / Advisors to complement the existing Board and support the next phase of growth.
Candidates should ideally bring expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Finance & Fundraising
CFO / FD-level experience, particularly within early-stage or scale-up businesses. Experience with EIS, grant funding, or growth-stage capital raising would be advantageous. Broad contacts in the investment community, in particular with Angel networks and Family Office groups, would be advantageous.
- B2B Sales & Commercial Partnerships
Proven ability to drive enterprise adoption, strategic partnerships, and scalable revenue growth.
- Supply Chain, Procurement or Marketplace Operations
Particularly relevant to the development and scaling of Construo’s Products & Services Marketplace.
- Business Leadership & Talent
Experience building senior teams, governance structures, and scalable organisations; HR or people leadership experience welcomed.
Incoming Non-Executive Directors / Advisors will be encouraged to become shareholders, with an initial investment typically in the range of £30k–£50k, aligning interests with those of the existing Board and investors. The company has HMRC Advance Assurance for EIS in place.
The expected time commitment is approximately 1–2 days per month, with flexibility during key growth phases.
