With demand for electric transport solutions at an all-time high, our client has developed a novel and innovative solution to reduce the overall cost for low volume vehicle manufacturers to convert to an all-electric platform. Their EV platform allows vehicle manufacturers to “drop” their body onto a fully integrated, modular chassis with built-in battery and drivetrain components—featuring several novel and patented design elements. This reduces the need for expensive and time-consuming R&D if manufacturers were to attempt this transition themselves.

This platform—commonly referred to as an EV “skateboard”—packs a powerful suite of innovations: in-wheel hub motors freeing up interior space and lowering weight, a battery that doubles as the chassis, electronic steering, 5G-enabled remote control via app, and true zero-turn capability. The entire system is modular, allowing for variations in width, length, and battery capacity based on application—whether it’s for buses, vans, fire trucks, ambulances, classic cars, military vehicles, or airport support fleets. MUEV’s technology provides a ready-to-integrate EV solution, speeding up time-to-market and significantly lowering conversion costs for customers.

Market & Opportunity

The global EV transition is one of the largest industrial shifts of the 21st century. While legacy OEMs dominate high-volume segments, there is a vast underserved market of low- to mid-volume vehicle builders—ranging from regional bus manufacturers to niche van builders, municipal services, emergency vehicles, and specialist applications.

MUEV LONG1

MUEV addresses this market with a universal electric chassis, designed to be easily adopted without the need for in-house electrification R&D.

  • In the UK alone, small vehicle manufacturers generated £5.16 billion in annual revenue prior to COVID, not including additional opportunities in military, specialist and retrofit sectors.
  • Globally, the small- and medium-volume EV opportunity is estimated to exceed £50 billion annually by 2030.
  • The classic car conversion market alone is forecast to grow at over 15% CAGR, and EV retrofits for government fleets are being prioritized across several emerging economies.

International Opportunity:

  • In South Asia, supportive EV policies, high urban population density, and high fuel costs are driving massive demand for EVs in commercial and municipal segments.
  • In Pakistan, the government aims for 30% of all new vehicles to be electric by 2030, with import duties waived on key EV components and public procurement programs incentivizing electric fleet adoption. MUEV is strategically positioned here with a signed LOI with the Pakistan Airport Authority to electrify ground support vehicles at Gwadar International Airport. This pilot will serve as a national model for other airports.
  • In Africa, with over 700,000 vehicles produced annually in Morocco alone, the EV shift is just beginning. Manufacturers and governments are working to leapfrog internal combustion by investing directly in electric fleets—particularly for city services and emerging middle-class mobility.

MUEV’s platform can be locally assembled and tailored to meet the needs of these fast-evolving transport ecosystems.

Investing NED opportunity

The team are now seeking investing Non-Executive Directors and Advisors to help shape their strategic direction, open doors to key networks, and accelerate their journey.

You’ll be a great fit if you bring:

  • Automotive / EV / Aerospace / Defense Industry Connections
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Procurement, or Fleet Sales
  • Backgrounds in manufacturing, scaling hardware, or specialist vehicles
  • Expertise in Transport innovation, clean tech, or emerging market expansion
  • Passion for Clean Mobility and Hardware-Driven Disruption

Investing NEDs that can add value to our journey through their skills, experiences, knowledge and networks can play a pivotal role in helping scale this exciting technology. They are seeking an investment of circa £25k–£50k per Investing NED to help close out the round, finalise product development and launch into market. Overall, the team are seeking to raise £200,000 in the current funding round, based on a £4 million company valuation (£190,0000 of the SEIS pool available).

This capital will be instrumental in:

  • Marketing and Sales: Expanding outreach to potential clients and partners.
  • Technology Development: Advancing EV platform to meet diverse market needs.
  • Pilot Project Implementation: Launching Pilot Project with PAA, and publishing those results to set the stage for further international projects.
  • Grant Applications: The money will vital for match funding the upcoming Innovate UK backed Grant applications.

Why Now?

Because the world is moving, and the infrastructure to support electric specialist vehicles doesn’t exist yet.

MUEV is at a rare and powerful moment: proven IP, real-world traction, and a clear pathway to scaling in multi-billion-pound markets that have barely begun the electrification journey.

Furthermore, MUEV has already started assembling an all-star team with extended experience in the automotive sector (and specialization in EV technology); along with a solid advisory panel with industry leaders and ministers who share the same goal of ensuring MUEV’s technology is available and accessible for the selected target market.

If you're looking to back real hardware, real clients, and real impact — this is your moment. Let’s talk. The team are ready to make this global. They are looking for the right partners to help get them there.
