A Non-Executive Chair (Non-Exec Chair) is required for an AIM listed property developer with a 25+ year track record, based in London.
We are seeking a high profile Independent Non-Exec Chair with proven success in leading growth in a significant property, Housing Association or house builder.
Candidates should, in addition to the above, have previous Chair experience, and have grown a business in a property related sector from £10m market cap to £100m+ (or equivalent).
Remuneration will be £50k+ pa for 2-3 days per month but more in the initial stages. Board meeting are held monthly in London.

- The Company is to relaunch in early 2020 with a refreshed, highly credible management team, a new capital structure and a new strategy.
- The aim is to become the leading provider of planning, development and construction services to the £10bn affordable homes market in the UK.
- The company has all the relevant accreditations, is a Homes England Investment Partner and has a high-quality delivery team with significant house building experience, via a subsidiary which has already delivered factory-built affordable housing.
- The new Chair will support the management team in growing the business to become a major player in the market. There is an opportunity to participate in the equity raise expected in Q1 2020.
Non-Exec Chair Requirements/Criteria
- A high profile (well known to the housing industry), experienced Non-Executive Chair.
- Able to demonstrate previous success in leading the growth of a significant property, Housing Association or house builder and will be well known to the industry. With significant contacts across the housing sector.
- Experience either as an Exec or Non-Exec of growing a business in the property sector from £10m mkt cap to £100m (or equivalent).
- Experience of a major fund raise.
- Strong strategic and commercial skills.
